Not every bed for summer 2027 opens on the same day. This plan tells you which bed opens when, with the source of every date, and in which order to book so the scarce nights come first.

Why the order matters
15 October 2026 · 43 places opened at once
The refuges and gîtes of the Association des Gardiens opened summer 2027 on one platform, on one day: 15 October 2026. Since then you book them there (checked on 15 October 2026).
Bonatti, Elisabetta, Lac Blanc and La Flégère are not on it
They book directly, each in its own way. Guidebooks and agencies commonly name Bonatti and Elisabetta among the huts that book out early. La Flégère opens on 5 January 2027 at 00:01 and says it will not answer requests sent before that date. Rifugio Bonatti’s form only takes 13 February to 30 March 2027 (its winter opening) and blocks summer 2027; it gives no date for summer. Elisabetta and the Lac Blanc had published no 2027 date we could find when we checked on 12 October 2026.
Rifugio Elena books on its own site too
Its online booking has been open since 15 October 2026: its booking module now takes arrival and departure dates (checked on 15 October 2026). The season runs from 20 May to 10 October 2027 (read on 12 October 2026).
The Croix du Bonhomme is closed in 2027 and 2028
The FFCAM, which owns the refuge, plans to reopen it in 2029 (its refuge page says summer, its project page spring), so it takes no guests in 2027 or 2028. Neither the FFCAM nor the official TMB site names a replacement. We expect the beds before the pass (Nant Borrant, La Balme) and after it (Les Chapieux, Les Mottets) to fill earlier in 2027.
The French communes want a booking for every night
French local authorities agreed in principle on 16 September 2026 to require a booking for every night on the French part of the tour, aiming for spring 2027. The charter is not signed yet.

An .ics file for any calendar app, plus a small offline page that adds your own deadlines (the cancellation dates of the platform and the Lac Blanc) from your start date.
What it does not do
- It books nothing and holds no beds. You book with the refuges yourself.
- It cannot promise a bed. On the busiest nights there are more walkers than beds.
- Dates can change. If a date in the plan changes before 31 January 2027, buyers get the corrected PDF by e-mail.

Questions
Is this a booking service?
No. Treksup books nothing, takes no commission from refuges and holds no beds. The plan tells you where and when to book; you book yourself, on the refuges' own systems.
I walk clockwise, or in fewer days.
The plan follows the classic anticlockwise tour in eleven walking days, but the booking dates belong to the places, not to the direction. Match your nights to the places and the dates still hold.
Where do the dates come from?
From the platform's own FAQ, the refuges' own pages, the FFCAM and the joint press release of the French local authorities of 21 September 2026, each linked in the plan with the day we read it. Anything we could not read at the source is tagged as such.
Do I need the Treksup app?
No. The plan stands on its own. In the Treksup app the TMB's safety brief, the trail conditions, dated and sourced, the alerts and the weather are free.
