Delete your account and data
Treksup: com.treksup.app. You do not need the app installed, or an account, to read this page.
In the app, immediately
You → Settings → Account → Delete account. It runs at once and cannot be undone. This is the fastest route and it needs nobody's help.

Write from the address the account is registered to and ask for it to be deleted. Requests are acted on within 30 days, and normally within a few days.
What is deleted

What was never on our servers in the first place
Your recorded GPS tracks, route plans, packing lists and body figures are stored on your phone only and are never uploaded. The copy of your name and photo kept on the phone stays there too. Deleting the account does not touch them; deleting the app removes them. Nothing there survives on our side because nothing there ever reached our side.
What is kept, and for how long
Nothing is kept for marketing, profiling or analytics — there is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no third-party tracker in the app at all.
- Backups. Deleted rows can survive for a short time in the hosting provider's automatic database backups, which expire on their own schedule. They are not readable by the app and are never used to restore an individual account.
- Moderation records. If your content was reported and acted on, an anonymised record of the decision is kept so the same content cannot simply be re-posted. It does not contain your email address.
Getting a copy first
Deletion is permanent, so export before you delete if you want anything back: Account → Export everything in the app.
