The planning half of a big walk.
Twenty-one classic multi-day routes, from the Ardennes to Corsica, Iceland and Canada, researched the slow way: booking windows with checked links, safety briefs written from the trail authorities’ own advice, terrain measured metre by metre. Where nothing reliable is known, the app says so instead of guessing.
Know what other walkers found
A feed of trips people actually did, and trail reports from the path itself — a washed-out bridge, snow on the col, a spring that has dried up. Reports carry who saw them and when, they expire on their own, and they never pretend to be an official closure.
Know when to book
Refuges on the famous routes fill months ahead. Name your month and see the timeline: when reservations open, when beds run out, where to book.
Know what you are walking on
Surface composition measured from OpenStreetMap — paved, gravel, path, rock, sand — with the unmeasured share shown honestly.
Know what you are carrying
Packing lists with real weights, footwear advice with its reasons shown, and a food and water plan per stage.
Works without an account
Routes, plans, packing lists and your recorded hikes live on your phone and stay there. An account is only for the community feed and trail reports, and you can export or delete everything in it from inside the app. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising. The privacy policy says exactly what is stored and where.
The library
Twenty-one routes, from a three-day first fjäll walk to sixteen days on the GR20. Each one took days of research, and it shows. Six are open in full in the app today; the others are visible there already and open route by route.

Route guide: the West Highland Way, stage by stage.
How the sausage is made
Measured, not traced
Route lines come from trail authorities’ own data or their official stage mapping, assembled and then measured against the published figures. The Escapardenne measures 103.8 km against its published 107; the Fishermen’s Trail matched to 99% with zero invented connections. A route that fails its measurement does not ship.
Sourced, claim by claim
Safety briefs are written from the trail authorities’ own advice, booking windows from the operators’ own pages, prices with their source and the date it was read. Where nothing reliable exists, the app shows the gap instead of filling it with plausible words.
Honest about its own limits
Where elevation comes from a terrain model rather than a surveyed track, the route says so in the app. Conditions information is a dated snapshot with links to the official sources, never a pretend live feed.
Questions you would ask
Where do I get it?
On the App Store, for iPhone, free to download. Open Treksup on the App Store.
What will it cost?
The app is free, and six routes are open in full at no cost. The deepest planning content on the other routes will come as a modest yearly subscription or per-route purchase, and that pricing is still being decided. Safety information will never sit behind a paywall.
Which languages?
English. Route research stays in English on purpose: safety advice is sourced word for word, and translations of it deserve the same care.
